What's in our Muffins?

Our base sweet muffin mix is made from:
White Flour, Brown Sugar, Malted Wheat Flakes, Coarse Wheat Bran, Jumbo Oats, Raising Agents (E500, E450), Buttermilk Powder, Toasted Rye Flakes, Oat Bran, Pearl Barley Flakes, Pinhead Oatmeal.

Our base savoury muffin mix is made from:
White Flour, Malted Wheat Flakes, Cracked Wheat Downham, Jumbo Oats, Oat Bran, Raising Agents (E500, E450), Buttermilk Powder, Toasted Rye Flakes, Maize Grits, Pinhead Oatmeal, Pearl Barley Flakes, Salt.

What are E500 and E450?
These are natural additives functioning as pH regulators and raising agents.

Artificial colours, preservatives, flavours?
Our muffin mixes are free from artificial colours, preservatives and flavours.

Allergy Advice
Contains wheat and milk products (buttermilk).

Storage Conditions

6 months unopened from date of manufacture.  See Best Before Date on packaging.

Genetically Modified Products
Our Muffin Mixes contain no Genetically Modified (GM) products, or raw materials or any materials made using GM technology.  However if you buy a ready made muffin from a caterer/retailer please check if GM ingredients have been added to the recipe.

Making the Base Mix
Fresh egg (but frozen pasturised whole egg can also be used), vegetable/corn/olive oil and water are added to make a base dough ready to accept recipe ingredients.
